Hi all.

We have just released *RescueBase*, an agent development kit based on
the ResQ Freiburg agent framework developed in 2004 and 2005. It has
been cleaned-up and removed of all high-level strategic components, so
that it can be used like YabAPI. RescueBasic provides all basic
functionality needed to develop intelligent agents for the RoboCup
Rescue Simulation, e.g. a sophisticated communication system and a
highly efficient path planner. Code for basic sample agents is included
to show how to use the ADK.

You can download RescueBase from
http://www.informatik.uni-freiburg.de/~rescue/sim/downloads/rescue_base.tgz

We hope that this tool especially helps and encourages new teams to
enter the competition. Have fun!
