Dear Maria,

Please check whether you are using the suitable java version (1.4.2) with
"java -version". Linux distributuins usually use GNU Java Compiler that is
unfortunately not working with the rescue simulation system. You should
probably download J2SDK version 1.4.2 and install it, and ofcourse, update
your path to include the "bin" dir of your new installed SDK before the
original GNU Java Compiler. You can use "java -version" again to ensure
this.
