Dear All,

The RoboLudens organizing committee would like to invite you for the
symposium accompanying the 'Dutch Open' RoboCup tournament in Eindhoven.
This symposium will take place on Monday April 10th, the day after the
tournament. We have invited a number of renowned speakers to give a
presentation about their research and development. Three of them have
already confirmed, but we will present the final list of speakers as soon
as the program is fixed.

Next to hearing the speakers we give you the opportunity to present your
work as well during the poster session, which will be held during the
afternoon. We invite you to make a poster with relevant work to the
symposium subjects (see below). During the poster sessions you will be
able to get in contact with speakers, representatives form universities
and industry and other students. You might even be able to arrange an
assigment or even a job opportunity.

If you are interested, please send us the abstract of your poster before
March 1st,
The RoboLudens organization will make a selection after which you will be
notified. You can bring your final poster with you.

GOAL
This symposium aims for improving knowledge exchange and development in
the area of robotics and artificial intelligence by offering a number of
lectures of renowned specialists in this area but also an informal
atmosphere offering the possibility of networking.

PROGRAM
We will present a one day symposium with 5 renowned speakers presenting
their work. Additionally there will be a poster session where students and
PhDs can present their work.

General program (Monday April 10th)

8:45 Opening
9:30 Speaker 1
10:30 Speaker 2
11:30 Speaker 3
12:30 Lunch with poster sessions
14:00 Speaker 4
15:00 Speaker 5
16:00 Closure

SUBJECTS
- Medical robots
- Robots in the home environment

Lectures take 45 minutes after which there is a 15 minute break for
questions and answers.

VENUE
The symposium will take place at the Strip (Philips High Tech Campus),
Prof. Holstlaan in Eindhoven. Lectures will be held in the auditorium.

FEE
Submission for participants of the Dutch Open is free of charge including
lunch.

More details, e.g. itinary, will be made available soon on the RoboLudens
website (www.robludens.nl).
