  This is max value that an positive Integer could be taken.
  misc_random_seed dose not declare as unsigned int in micsimulator and other simulator
  because this every one have same problem as you.

However, when we run the simulation, the seed that is being taken is
2147483647. We find that this is the maximum value that our system could
take. Even when we changed the seed to 2147483648, the value that is being
taken is 2147483647. However if we put the seed as any value (say X)
which is less than 2147483647, the value (X) is being taken.

Our system is a Fedora Core 3 on Intel(R) Xeon(TM) multiprocessor.

Is it ok for the VCFinal3 log file to have this value(2147483647) as the
random value? Please help.

We did not notice the yesterdays topic about fire simulator random seed and
setup the environment as announced earlier. Our rescue server is a 64 bit
Fedora 4 machine which we hardly able to run the simulation without the help
of the mail list members. We could not solved the civilian53 position 21
problem in VC city and set its position to 49 (civilian52) as Cameron
Skinner previously advised.
What your comments about the two issues above?
We currently upload the log files and TDP to our web site
