Dear RoboCuppers,

* AI-Games 2005 Competitions

* Call for Participation

University of Isfahan in Iran is organizing a RoboCup local event
called "AI Games 2005". The main purpose of this event is to
promote research in areas of AI and MultiAgent systems. It also
provides a competition place for some of the most famous Robocup
testbeds in AI(such as soccer and rescue simulation).

The competition also contains different small local leagues of
simple AI games(turn taking and realtime games) for undergraduate
students in Iran to help them test and challenge their knowledge
acquired in Artificial Intelligence, MultiAgent systems, and
Machine Learning courses. This also makes it easier for these
young AI researchers to switch to more complex domains such as
RoboCup in future.

The event is completely non-profitable. It is organized and
financially supported by the computer engineering department of
University of Isfahan and University of Isfahan AI Labs.

The AI-Games 2005 competitions will be held in University of
Isfahan from November 30-December 2, 2005.
The Competitions has the following Leagues:

      * 2D Soccer Simulation
      * 3D Soccer Simulation
      * Coach Soccer Simulation
      * Rescue Simulation
      * UnderGraduate Checkers
      * UnderGraduate Nibbles
