This is an announcement from RoboCup2005 Osaka Committee.

To teams who will carry your stuff with ATA Carnet,
This is the procedure when you enter to Japan,
1) show your ATA Carnet and your robots, equipment listed on the Carnet
at the Custom,
2) gain the approval by the Custom officer,
3) tell the officer that you bring all your robots and equipment to your
country.
when you leave Japan,
1) at your airline check-in counter, tell them that you have ATA carnet,
2) ask them to call a custom officer,
3) gain the approval for export by the officer.
!!WARNING!!
If you return to your country without this approval, you will have to
pay tax and duty, also have a big trouble with who issued the ATA
carnet. You are adviced to get to the Airport in plenty of time to
check-in.
