Okay, I will try this new fire sim and see if the ignition delay is due to
the map or the fire sim. Will keep you posted.

When I start up maps on my computer (cygwin), the fires don't ignite until

parameter that affects how long until the fires spread?

Thanks,

Nathan,

I noticed the same behaviour, but didn't complain because officially only
Linux is supported. I was thinking of an experiment to look if it was really
due to the fire-simulator, bye replacing the current one by the award
winning simulator of Rescue Freiburg:

Didn't had time to look into that.
