3rd ROBOCUP 2004 NEWS

RoboCup 2004 is approaching fast and many events are now unfolding.
Please give some attention to the following:
* The deadline for "Intention of Participation" (aka Pre-registration)
is... today! Please check your league page (under 'Qualification' to
download the pre-registration form and send it to your Technical
Committee (TC) chair. This step is important to let us have an estimate
of the expected number of teams per league. Junior participants do NOT
need to pre-register.
* The Electronic Submission page for the Symposium is now OPEN. Check
the Symposium link. The deadline for paper submission is already
February 3, so please rush and upload your papers. We have prepared an
exciting program, including 4 outstanding plenary speakers:

Please spread the CFP, also online in the Symposium page, to all your
colleagues, either RoboCuppers or not.
* Last, but not the least, let us underline again how important it is
that you reserve your accommodation as soon as possible (i.e., right
now). The hotel reservation page will also be fully online today. We
know some people has experienced problems contacting our official Travel
Agent and also that some of the conditions for reserving the hotels now
are somewhat strict, but please understand that travel agents here are
overwhelmed with work and constraints due to the huge increase of hotel
reservations because of EURO 2004. Be patient and Top Atlântico will
end up satisfying your requests. In any case, should you experience any
problems, please write to secretariat@robocup2004.pt with a detailed
explanation of your problem.
