** Voting period will come soon!
** which one we use at RoboCup 2002 ?
****************************************

Dear friends;

Vote will be done with the following procedure:
<----------------------------------------------------------------------
 Stage 1 (2002/1/21 - 1/31): voting by participants.
            Participants mean team leaders and simulator developers.
            Teams are the teams that participated in RoboCup 2001.
            Simulator developers are ones who developed simulators used
            in RoboCup 2001.
            Team leaders have 2 points and
            simulator developers have 1 point for each item.
---------------------------------------------------------------------->

I encourage all teams, including new face teams, to comment on the
proposals to RoboCup 2002 Rescue Simulation League.
Your comments and reports will improve the proposal's quality and
lead good vote results.

Any comments are welcome !

My comments are
(1) I made initial data files -gisini.txt- for Virtual city map,
    http://kiyosu.isc.chubu.ac.jp/robocup/Rescue/note2002.html
    click [Resources/ Map Information].
    The agents numbers (civilian, ambulance, fire, police) are
    (22, 1, 3, 4) for city2_4 , and (80, 2, 4, 5) for city2_1,

(2) Under 0_35-unix environment, the viewer (2viewer.sh) displays
    both virtual city maps, however, Kuwata viewer (kuwataviewer.sh)
    prints error messages and displays no map,

(3) Viewing the simulation display from the viewer (2viewer.sh),
    the blockage simulator does not seem to work.

(4) my environments are
$ java -version
java version "1.4.0-beta3"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.0-beta3-b84)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.0-beta3-b84, mixed mode)
$ cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.4.7-10 (bhcompile@stripples.devel.redhat.com) (gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)) #1 Thu Sep 6 17:27:27 EDT 2001

Best regards.
