please note that the pre-registration phase for the RoboCup German Open
(see call below) is closing on January 8, 2008. Any team potentially
interested in participating in the Rescue Agent competition _must_
pre-register (no pre-registration => no participation) at

Please note that the pre-registration is no definite commitment from
your side but it is needed for planning, i.e., to see how many teams are
interested.

The RoboCup German Open 2008 will be the seventh open RoboCup
competition held in Germany. The event will take place during
HANNOVER MESSE 2008 sharing hall 25 with a new exhibition on
"Mobile Robots & Autonomous Systems"
- RoboCup Senior
Competitions will be held in the following RoboCup Senior leagues:
   RoboSoccer
   - Middle-Size League
   - Small-Size League
   - Four-Legged League
   - Humanoid League
   - Simulation League (Soccer 2D)
   - Simulation League (Soccer 3D)
   RoboRescue
   - Rescue Robot League
   - Simulation League (Rescue Agent)
   - Simulation League (Rescue Virtual)
   RoboCup_at_Home

Senior team. Pre-registration starts 1 December 2007, the deadline is
   *** 8 January 2008 ***.
Details on the final registration will be announced after the
end of the pre-registration period.
The final registration period will commence in mid January and
end by mid February. Only pre-registered teams will be allowed
to register for the event. We strongly recommend to book accomodation
as soon as possible. Those teams who did not manage to book
accommodation on their own will be offered a limited number of pre-
booked accommodation facilities near Hannover (youth hostel level).
- RoboCupJunior
German RoboCupJunior teams have to qualify for participation in the
RoboCup German Open 2008 in one of three regional events held in
Magdeburg (23-24 February 2008), at the Nürburgring (1-2 March 2008)
and in Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich (15-16 March 2008). Please visit
www.robocup-german-open.de to register for these RoboCupJunior events.
The registration deadline is 8 January 2008.
