Random IDs

Hi !

I just have a question concerning the random IDs. Ok, first I think that
it was a great IDea to narrow down the possibilitiy of precalculation by
introducing random IDs and thus
fostering the development of autonomous agents! However, is'nt it quite
easy to implement a function f(x,y)=z that generates from the buildings
position (x,y) a unique ID z that is uniqe even
among all the other maps of the competition (If using a non-random map
such as Kobe or VC)?

Would'nt it make sense then to also add some noise to the building
positions?

Thanks and sorry if I got something wrong here,

Alex
